Elected at the last AGM | Chairman: Carol Tosh Carol Tosh, a Scottish trained primary teacher, was until recently, Senior Adviser in the Aylesbury Vale area of Buckinghamshire. After 27 years in Bucks, she has finaly decided to retire and try and spend time with her new grandchildren! She was headteacher of three different schools in Bucks (two of then small). Before entering the advisory service she was head of a small Buckinghamshire first school for fourteen years. Prior to taking over as Chairman of NSSF in 2006, she was secretary for many years. Carol has a passion for small schools! Email address:

| | Vice- Chairman: John Harris More details to follow |
| Treasurer: Chris Williams Chris has been head of Old Sodbury CE Primary School so long there are rumours that the village was named in his honour! It is a larger small school with ninety-one on roll and is set in a lovely position on the edge of the Cotswold Hills. He came into teaching after a false start in insurance, which he hated. A sporting accident found him lying in hospital next to a newly qualified teacher who inspired him to apply for a place in teacher training college. This, perhaps, explains why he loves being a teaching head and not stuck in an office. When the new unitary authority of South Gloucestershire was formed the future of its small schools was reviewed and Chris was asked to join the working party to examine the case for their survival. It was whilst researching for this that he was introduced to the NSSF. He has been a committee member of CASSA, Co-operation amongst Small Schools Association, since its foundation as the County of Avon Small Schools Association. The acronym was kept to save printing new notepaper! Its that kind of stinginess that has qualified him to be treasurer of several organisations. Chris is an enthusiastic supporter of the Comenius international links scheme, which, he feels, has enriched his school and made friends of colleagues in Finland, Italy and Romania. Email address:
